I don't know. Maybe it's just me. Maybe I don't want someone gloating about how much better the weather is in winter in Florida than it is up north.


I'm from the frozen tundra. I don't think taunting potential clients with beach pictures and sunny palm trees is going to attract many potential clients who are in the grip of winter weather.

Today's buyers, especially in the luxury segment, aren't looking for feeble attempts at humor by a Florida Realtor when selecting where to live.


These buyers are doing a tremendous amount of online research about cities, lifestyles, and neighborhoods. A growing number of buyers can now telecommute, and can live practically anywhere.


This is what you should be focusing on, in your listing presentations, and providing on your website and social media platforms as a buyer's agent.
