Push, Don't Pull
Even before I've had my first cup of coffee, I got inspired to do a live session on Facebook (facebook.com/agentbrandbuilder) about an article I read this morning.
The article comes from RIS Media (of which I'm not a huge fan). It featured Realtors from a Sothebys franchise in California and how they obtain and market luxury properties.
Even if you don't have a lot of luxury properties in your market, the article applies to all of us.

They say that they do not "prospect for clients". They publish content.
Hallelujiah!
The old school tells us to create just listed/just sold messages, either on social media or via snail mail post cards to your "farm area". That's dead and over. Content pulls people in to you for your expertise and knowledge of the market.
Put yourself in your potential customer's shoes: What did you do to sell the home? What do you know about marketing that your competitors don't?
Inspired? Get to work.
