The more you put your content out there to be found by potential clients, the more you'll get requests for what I call "free information".
So many times, free information requests come from leads who are already working with another Realtor. The public does not understand the concept of procuring cause, or agency relationship.
I understand the temptation to jump as fast as possible with a reply. You want to show your lead you are knowledgeable and available to help. This is what you're told to do. Unfortunately, in the real world, this type of lead probably isn't going to hire you.
A lead that WILL hire you, will tell you they've read your website, social media, or blog, and found it helpful.
