Eliminate These Words | Real Estate Marketing | David Barr Realtor
As I'm searching properties for out of town clients this week, I can't keep from rolling my eyes.
Please eliminate these words from your marketing: "sell" "sold" and "just".
Agents taking photos holding a sold sign are particularly worthy of an eye roll. The public knows it's easy to sell homes in this market. You don't need to be one of the horde of newly-licensed agents bragging about doing your job.
Also, edit yourself and your use of "just". To me, "just" is telling a client to just stop asking questions and believe you. You're such a simpleton it's "just" so easy to make a decision on buying this home. "Just" aims to cut off conversations.
Just listen to me and do it, OK?
